Principal areas of practice:
Ann took Silk in 2009. Her practice involves big money ancillary relief cases where she is instructed both by husbands, wives and also offshore asset holding entities. Her practice is based in the High Court in London and the Principal Registry and also in Yorkshire where she has a particular following who commend her astute, no nonsense approach. She deals not only with commercial high net worth families but also has a particular interest in, and understanding of, farming cases.
Ann has lectured extensively on ancillary relief and has been commended for her enthusiastic and innivotive approach to training.
Education:
Ann read law at the University of Kent at Canterbury. She was called to the Bar in 1981 and was a Middle Temple Blackstone Scholar.

Personal:
She lives in North London with her husband Alastair Sharp a Middle Temple Bencher and Judge. They have four children and Ann tries to spend most of the school holidays with them at their farm house on Speyside following outdoor pursuits. She has masterminded an award winning forestry project near Dornoch, she also has a life long enthusiasm for equestrian activities and has successfully shown native ponies.
