Career:
Barrister and specialist children Mediator, trained with Resolution.
Rachel has over 15 years' experience in children's disputes. She has acted for parents and children in many complex and difficult disputes, acting in over 70 cases for the Official Solicitor, the majority in the High Court. She has extensive experience of private residence and contact disputes in the county court and the High Court, applications for leave to remove from the jurisdiction and cases of child abduction.
She took a career break over a number of years from 1998 to raise her family, but continued with her career in a part-time capacity, co-editing the Family Title of Halsburys Laws 37th Edition, lecturing in Advocacy in Family Law at the BPP School of Law in London and acting as a consultant to Camilla Baldwin, family solicitors in Mayfair.
She qualified in 1999 as a Family Mediator with the Family Mediation Association and in 2009 undertook a further 8 day Resolution mediation training course for family lawyers.

Child abuction.
Leave to remove from the jurisdiction.
Mediation in private disputes over children.
Education:
Rachel read Law at the London School of Economics & Political Science, University of London, where she obtained a Scholarship.
