Called to the Bar by Middle Temple in 1977 and took silk in 2002. Following a common law pupillage joined 1 Hare Court (then 1 Mitre Court Buildings) in January 1979.
Principal areas of practice:
Predominantly ancillary relief, with a particular interest in cases concerning trusts whether nuptial or non-nuptial.
Further areas of practice include disputes over jurisdiction, professional negligence arising from divorce cases, private law children's cases and drafting prenuptial agreements.
Education:
Shrewsbury School and Collingwood College, Durham with a degree in English Language and Literature.
